The Premier Nappies team has been making rapid progress towards the launch of its new range of ultra-thin nappies in recent weeks.
Artwork for the packaging has now been signed off along with designs for the nappies’ backsheets and frontal tape, meaning manufacturing can begin on schedule.
The first Premier Ultra-Thin nappies are due to roll off the production line towards the end of October, and should be available in stores shortly afterwards.
“Everything is going exactly according to plan at the moment,” says Premier Nappies founder Harvey Samuel. “We’re prepared for any last-minute hurdles, but mainly we’re just looking forward to having our new nappies on sale here in Britain.”
Premier Nappies has been manufacturing high-quality, affordable nappies since 2012, but up to now they’ve been sold mainly to markets in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
The upcoming launch of the new-style nappies will mark the company’s entry into the British and European markets.
Premier’s ultra-thin nappies are produced using the revolutionary Drylock system, which means they’re half as thick as traditional nappies while remaining just as absorbent.
They’re more comfortable for babies but also better for the environment as they use no fluff pulp and fewer chemicals, and the smaller size means more can be transported in a smaller space than before.
The new style of nappy has received excellent reviews, with nappy industry expert Carlos Richer saying: “In terms of overall performance, Drylock is superior to all US-made diapers.”
And the ultra-thin nappies aren’t the only new product being launched by Premier this year; a new range of British-made wipes is also on its way.
